Borussia Dortmund confirmed the permanent signing of Daniel Svensson this afternoon at their training grounds in Brakel.
Svensson has reportedly been purchased for €6.5million and pens a deal at the Ruhrpott giants until 2029.
Since arriving from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland in January, the full-back has been highly impressive.
He has made 15 appearances for Die Schwarzgelben across all competitions whilst laying off a goal and two assists.
“Daniel has fully met our expectations from day one. He arrived quickly and has immediately enriched our team with his performances.
“His intensity and flexibility fit our game very well and give us many options. On top of that, Daniel is also a good guy and an exemplary professional,” said sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
