Tim Oermann is reportedly set to leave VfL Bochum following the club’s relegation to the 2. Bundesliga.
According to Bild, the 21-year-old centre-back is on the verge of joining Bayer Leverkusen.
The report claims that Leverkusen are prepared to pay between €1.5 and €2 million for Oermann, who has already agreed personal terms with Die Werkself and is under contract with Bochum until 2026.
Leverkusen are said to be planning to send Oermann out on loan for the 2025/26 season – ideally to another Bundesliga side.
FC Köln – currently on track for promotion – are seen as a likely destination, while already-promoted Hamburger SV are also mentioned as a possibility.
