RB Leipzig have confirmed that Amadou Haidara will miss the final two games of the season through injury.

Tuesday’s training session proved costly as the midfielder went to ground clutching his left knee in agony.

It was later confirmed at a local hospital via an MRI scan that the Malian had sustained a medial ligament injury.

Head coach Szolt Löw will be without Haidara for the games against Werder Bremen and VfB Stuttgart as a result.

Haidara will however be available for pre-season as Die Roten Bullen build up to the 2025-26 campaign in mid-summer.
