Bernhardsson and Dähne “proud” of gutsy win over Augsburg

Speaking in the mixed room after Holstein Kiel’s vital 3-1 win over FC Augsburg, two-goal Alexander Bernhardsson expressed his delight at the result. 

“It’s great fun to play in this team. When you get passes like I did today, it makes scoring goals a lot easier.

“The whole team did a great job today, and I’m very proud of the boys’ performances over the past few weeks,” he added.

Thomas Dähne was in inspired from for Kiel and pulled off a string of top drawer saves to maintain their lead. He also shared his thoughts with the media at full-time.

“We’ve been playing really good football in recent weeks. We’re solid defensively, winning possession at the right times, and taking advantage of our opportunities going forward. 

“With the three points, we’ve come one step closer to our ultimate goal. Winning two games in a row is obviously a boost for us,” Dähne said.
