Bulinews brings you an exclusive look as three of Wolfsburg’s four Danish players are put to the test in the latest episode of the club’s “Danish Dynamite” series.

In a recent video made by VfL Wolfsburg, three players took part in the latest edition of Danish Dynamite, a series of challenges involving Wolfsburg’s Danish players. Jonas Wind, Mads Roerslev, and Andreas Skov Olsen took part in this video; Wind was previously involved in a video with Joakim Mæhle last year, where the two had to confirm, looking away from each other, who was better or worse at certain qualities (singing, speaking German, etc.).

The first challenge was to guess a Denmark-born player based on their career pathway. The first player represented FC København in Denmark before Borussia Dortmund and then Sevilla; all three were correct that it was Thomas Delaney, who represented the Superliga club from 2008-2016 before playing for BVB between 2018-2021, and Sevilla from 2021-2024. It should be mentioned that Delaney returned to FC København and is currently playing there.

In the second round, a former VfL Wolfsburg player was involved, with the clubs being FC Midtjylland, VfL Wolfsburg, and AC Milan; all three players were correct in guessing Simon Kjær, who was in the Midtjylland academy from 2001-2007, played for Wolfsburg from 2010-2013, and represented AC Milan from 2020-2024 before ultimately retiring. The third and final round also involved VfL Wolfsburg, with FC København and Arsenal as the other two clubs; all three guessed Nicklas Bendtner and were correct, as Bendtner played for Arsenal from 2005-2014, Wolfsburg from 2014-2016, and København in late 2019 before retiring.

They then took part in a round-robin paper football tournament. Skov Olsen defeated Wind 4-1 in the opener; Roerslev and Skov Olsen tied 4-4; and Roerslev defeated Wind 2-0. This meant that Skov Olsen and Roerslev both had a win and draw, while Wind lost twice. The decider ended without a clear winner, as Skov Olsen’s late equaliser forced a 3-3 draw.

The video is at the top of the article and is a Bulinews exclusive, directly from the club itself. Credit to VfL Wolfsburg for the video.
